Will Tovey

Will Tovey is the Head of UK. He is responsible for managing our firm’s operations in London. He is part of the team determining Schroders (SDR.L)’s strategy throughout the region and is responsible for hiring, supporting, and supervising the performance and professional development of the portfolio management teams in Europe.

Mr. Tovey joined Schroders (SDR.L) from Barclays where he was Co-Head of Equity Distribution in Europe and part of the team which helped build the European Equity business from its origination in 2009. Prior to joining Barclays he was a Managing Director at UBS and the head of its European cash equity sales unit in London. Mr. Tovey began his career as an equity analyst and fund manager for Mercury Asset Management.

Mr. Tovey serves on the Board of The October Club charity organization and received his BSc (Hons) in economics from the University of Warwick.
